Verify (Patent Pending) IV Compounding Verification System, is a wireless, bar code based system that verifies that the ingredients and quantities used in pharmacy IV compounding are correct.  The system guides the tech through the compounding process and then provides pharmacist verification of all technician activities, recording every step by both the tech and the pharmacist.  Verify provides real time automated error checking for IVs compounded in a hospital pharmacy or similar facility.

  Verify Is Easy To Use . . .

As each order is scanned, Verify displays the order, including all medications. As each medication is scanned, the bar code is matched to the formulary and order. If all match, the scan is accepted and the technician continues until the verification process is complete. If any item is incorrect, or if one or more medications are missing, the order is not verified and is set aside for review by pharmacy staff.
