The
Ariel
Expiration Date and Lot Number Tracking System
is a highly automated and labor efficient control
and validation system based on our popular RIC32 (remote
inventory control) platform. The system uses
lightweight portable bar code readers to capture bar
coded data, including lot and expiration dates, for
items as they are stocked or removed. Items are flagged
immediately if they are near or past their expiration
date. The
system also explicitly tracks item lot numbers, so you
can search to view all lot numbers on any item that has
ever been received into the system, and if the item is
still in circulation at your facility today. The system can read existing manufacturer bar
codes or you can print and apply bar code labels for
items that need them.
A wide range of reporting
options are available to meet any situation. The system
maintains a full history of all issue and return
activity for the inventory areas. Separate
inventories are easily maintained and tracked for each
inventory area and can be reported individually or
consolidated as necessary. You can print reports
showing items nearing their expiration by xx
days, or all locations for a particular item in order by
expiration date.
The
Expiration Date Tracking System uses the latest
technology in portable bar code readers, exceptionally
durable but lightweight units with an integral
noncontact bar code scanner, touchscreen, and backlit
display. These units have proven very popular in a
wide variety of healthcare operations, and are available
with both batch and radio frequency (RF) communications
options.
Suitable
for use in pharmacies, cath labs, radiology units, or
any area where expiration and lot management are
critical to operations. Bar coding makes it fast, easy,
and accurate! Take advantage of the bar code
information already encoded on your packaging by your
product manufacturer or area distributor to improve your
internal efficiencies and to eliminate old and outdated
supplies. The system can also print any bar code
information needed that isn't already on the
manufacturer's product labeling. |
